Love those half doors! Is the Kenny Bell supercharger a current product? When I went blower shopping RIPP was the only game in town for a TJ/LJ (with one exception.)

Yes... and passed smog every time except when we had a vapor recovery leak (now fixed).

Kenne Bell's kit includes EVERYTHING including a piggyback ECU which eliminates the issues I heard other supercharger owners had.

Unfortunately Kenne Bell discontinued selling this supercharger kit several years ago. Parts aren't a problem since it basically uses parts from Kenne Bell's vast array of superchargers they makes for other street and race vehicles. Kenne Bell is also located right here in SoCal if we ever need parts... and they're very helpful and knowledgeable too.

I bought the half doors off eBay when we first bought our Rubicon and had them painted to match by a body shop. I still have the full doors that came with our Jeep hanging in our garage to go with our Jeep when we decide to sell it.

I dyno'd my Rubi before and after the blower install - I doubled my rear wheel HP. The PCM is hard coded to shut the engine down at 90 mph (or thereabouts) or 4,000 RPM while in park or neutral - that's why the graph suddenly dropped.

Wow, that's a surprise to me. I didn't think it would be CARB approved.
Too bad they're out of production, I'd slap one on my TJ if they were available.
I actually missed out on buying a used TR back in 2004 when I was looking to buy a TJ.
A local Pontiac/GMC dealer had a low mileage TR for sale that I called about, they priced it as a regular Wrangler since they didn't know what a Rubicon was, or the Tomb Raider edition. It was raining really hard that day so I decided to postpone my visit to the next day to buy it. Of course, when I went there the next day, it had been sold the evening before...
