drivers side rust treatment done, after Ospho application I applied two coats epoxy primer, one coat 2K base, then laid on a heavy coat of clear, hopefully this takes care of surface rust, going to clean and paint a lot of the hardware that I removed so will be a couple weeks before I move to passenger side,

Curious... what about undercoating instead of the coat of clear?

The clear coat is the last step in a three part paint procedure recommended by a finishing shop near me, I am certainly no expert, I really don't think the base coat is needed except that it adds color, I will say that the epoxy primer I used is tough stuff, tried cleaning some off a few tools a coupe days after I had applied it and its not coming off. the clear coat should add impact resistance from small stones and such and will likely clean easier, I suppose undercoating is still an option but likely would want to scuff the clear coat first

Hi For inside the frame a 3M System 3 undercoating sprayer with the 2 foot long wand works great, Lots of body shops use these to get inside enclosed spaces. you just put the spray wand into availables holes and it has a 360 degree spray pattern.

Rubies back on the road again, coated bumpers with bed liner, installed a set of rocker protectors, did the crown OPDA upgrade, nothing wrong with old one, just a piece of mind thing. Still need to mount winch and light bar. finally getting nice enough in mid michigan to take top down,
