Are there any cool mines to explore in your area?

LOL, There is nothing like any of what you do around here. I'm on the Gulf. I dig a hole and hit water at around two-feet. The only time the Jeep goes off road is in the backyard.

2 feet! LOL I wish it was the same out here. When I had the well initially done, I think we hit water at about 280 feet the first time. Water table has shifted a few times over the years.
There must be some good wheeling somewhere around you! If not pack up and move West, it's beautiful out here. Well it's beautiful now, the democrats are trying to spread the big fail that is california into AZ. I personally think they wont be happy until everywhere is Venezuela. I honestly do not understand a single democrat plan, nothing they do is sustainable and nothing even remotely makes sense or is good for actual Americans.

And that's one of the cosmic mysteries I struggle with. The new era Democrats have moved very far to the left - the coastal liberal elites think Socialism is good for the little people. However Socialism is a proven failure and free health care for all - a disaster that would suck the treasury dry. Okay, I'm taking deep breaths, relax John, relax..

If by very far to left, you mean so far they have slid off the page, then I am inclined to agree. I also agree on socialism, it has never worked or benefited any group of people. There is the temporary free ride that comes with the initial wealth redistribution, however it always ends the same way... poverty, disarmament and crushing oppression by the government.

On a happier note, today and yesterday were amazing days for exploration, wheeling, hiking and shooting. I found 5 new mines and shot close to 2k rounds of 223 and and about 800 rounds of 300blk. Damn fine weekend so far.

Once I get my scrambler to a better state of off-road reliability, I'd like to visit you and see some of these amazing trails you are always enjoying!

Sounds like a good plan to me, I go out at least three days a week, every week!

Today I finished exploring some mines near the end of this mountain range that I have been slowing climbing/wheeling through. Beautiful area to say the least. On my way out I found a really deep vertical mine shaft, however the light was fading and my strength had long since faded. Roping down would not have been an issue, however i just did not have the strength to get back out LOL. I will catch it next time. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Shooting that many rounds through the suppressor, do you need to clean it every xx rounds? I know some of the Russian ammo is dirty. I probably haven't put more than 100 rounds through my .30 cal can. (And my .22 can gets really dirty.)
