I did a lot of climbing and shooting today. I peaked 3 different mountains and shot over a case of 223 and a few hundred rounds of 9mm. I also saw a couple more deer. I included a selfie so if any of you ever see me in the desert you will be able to recognize me.
I have to say, I am so so so very happy with all the places my Jeep is capable of going.

I think guns look their best when they are a little worn.
Also thank you! Feel free to post some more pics of yours the next time you are out and about, I am starting to think only a few of us here shoot. LOL

Well today was another fine day in AZ. My Jeep always takes me to the best places, I love it!
I climbed in a new area today, I was looking for a mine, however I was not able to find the adit. I am thinking it was not in the area, I did not even see the tell tale signs of waste rock anywhere. Bit of a bummer there, however I did get quite a bit of shooting in, and made it up a crumbly rock face that I was certain a few times I was not making it back home LOL.
Anyway, I hope everyone is ready for a nice long weekend and everyone gets some really amazing wheeling in. Post pics damn it!! :-p

I think my buddy would have a heart attack if he saw those guns lying on the ground without a blanket.
You definitely have some beautiful country there.

That's silly, guns don't get cold, what could they possibly need a blanket for? Just kidding, most if not all of my acquaintances are the same way. One little scratch and it's off to get it cerakoted :-p
When I got my MPX, one of my colleagues picked one up at the same time. We got back together a month or so later to shoot and he had his MPX in a silicone sock thing inside of a pelican case. Mine was just rattling around in the back of the jeep, no case. The look on his face was priceless. Mine had also had a few climbs on it by then so it was already showing some pretty good wear. If you want a firearm tested, just climb with it regularly
