Red face

Every bolt I put in that was rusty when removed gets a coating of anti-seize compound on its threads. It has proven to make life a whole lot easier down the road in a year or two.

It's a shame those beautiful headers are covered up by the intake

Hmm everything seems aligned correctly but water pump & rad e fan centerline causes concern... Rear exhaust is all bound up on passenger upper control arm.. will need to remove for lift install

Oh & deos anyone know where I can source one of these

Dorman 56398 Water Pump Inlet Tube https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001C6JCU0..._fuEqAbYNN5HXG

for water pump to heater core with a segregated rotational b nut? I really don't want to remove water pump to install

I do not think an efan is going to work out. Very few have has success. An Explorer 11 blade fan and hd clutch is where most success will come from. Use the stock water pump is a good companion for the fan.

Your water pump will be hitting the fan motor with hard wheeling, I ruined a Griffin radiator due to inadequate clearance there. Let us know how it works out.

OK maybe a goofy idea since the discussion has gone to strokers and V8's.

This is just south of Reno NV. I haven't checked this out although sounds like the guy still has the engine in the Jeep and you could take it for a drive before pulling it out. A spare engine and trans for $500! I just spent $564 on a drag link and tie-rod!

It would be good if its an 05 or 06 motor so the electronics are the same.

Nope, but you could make one I think- the fitting is 1/2 NPT into the pump IIRC. You could probably run hose to a straight barb fitting if you could find some sort of 90degree support for it-otherwise that section of hose would be prone to collapse- which is why they used tube.
You would have to cut the tube to get it off without removing pump- a tubing cutter would be best a saw blade would introduce some metal debris into the system...
Not sure its worth the time or investment to avoid removing the pump.

Sounds like this efan setup is a no go but I'm a glutton for punishment so I'm going to stay the course but keep a close eye on it.

Clearances does seem tight? I'm not sure how much flex that area will experience? Perhaps I'll put a Bluetooth GoPro during some events...

Drilled out the shock bolt - all's good there
Going to finish the rear suspension install this wknd
Antiseize bath for the upper shock bolts!

I'll leave a few picks of my OE front control arms that I removed
Upper driver side was bent so bad the Axel Leap Forward 1 inch when I remove the bolt makes me wonder how alignments had been done at the local alignment shop??
The lower control arms I had a ball joint press on the Eccentric bolts equals no go so had to cut them out
Then have ran into multiple issues with my metalcloak three and a half inch lift that have slowed progress
Not overly impressed but for the price and being American made I'd still buy again at this point
