For any of you that might be following along on this, I have been working on getting all the parts needed to get my Jeep back together. Since I posted last I've been gathering hardware and some odds and ends. Today, I finished up the collection by receiving my OE hood and OE fenders. Next step is to take them to paint and after that it's going to be assembly. I think we'll have it back on the road in a few weeks from now. Stay tuned

Reminds me of a 2007 Rubicon I ordered new from the factory back in 2006 when they first came out...traded it in 2012, and have wondered why since. However, no plans to re-purchase it, as I have no idea what ever happened to it. Besides, I got a mint 2004 TJR last year that I love. I can really appreciate what you're doing to restore an old 'friend', though. Good luck with the reassembly.

Ok guys, I made some progress on the Jeep and I also took a large step back. Just for good measure I replaced the water pump since the fan took a hit during the accident. After I got the clip on I could see that the passenger side shock tower is pushed in enough that the top of the shock isn't accessible through the hole in the fender. Frame is bent, and I think we all expected that anyway. I have it at a frame shop to get their opinion on it. I'm going to get a frame for it if the verdict is that it can't be put back into place 100%.

Just a quick update for anyone that's been following this project. The frame was bent so I had it swapped out with another one. It took the guys close to 4 days to do it and it's ready for the finish work now.

Pics (first is original frame, 2nd is the replacement. Last pic is with the new frame under the tub.
