Mount Emily Recreation Area

Took some time today and drove up the hill to MERA today. It is a public recreation area supported and built by monies fron Govt. grants and user fees. It's one of the best deals going at $10 for 2 years!

Was only up there for an hour and 1/2, but the time spent reinforced my decision to buy the Rubicon. Tried one black diamond trail and easily made my way through it. I must state however that these black diamond trails are nearly as difficult as others....still it was a good test.

So now for a few pictures:

My gps was trying to tell me something....whodathunk?

Sorry for the large images....didn't have time to resize them.

Altogether a very enjoyable trip!

Hmmm, looks like they auto resized this ttime.
