Finally ran Hell's Revenge - April 2018

Our group heading up the first fin into Hell's Revenge trail Moab

Our leader has done this trail many times. His calm talk and directions made this a lot easier. Still, when you can't see over your hood ahead and its a drop off everywhere... it got my heart pumping.

Some even did the Tip Over Challenge

The scenery in all directions was magnificent. The La Sal Mountains south of Moab in the background.

Also did the Seven Mile Rim trail north of Moab. Made it to the Monitor and Merrimack, civil war reference to the buttes that looked like opposing iron clads doing battle.

We had lunch on the rim. Looking south towards Moab.

The TJ handled all the terrain very well. No drama. But I took the easy route most of the time and the lower steps. Still exhilarating and fun.

Running those fins and then not being able to see over a drop off always gets my attention no matter how often I've run a trail.

Great pix Bob, thanks for putting them up!
