NOT! Even considering the possible money saved... I love my Rubicon Unlimited JK... love the 4 doors! If I were to consider doing it over... it would be a buggy or Juggy... with 4 seats!

I still love my JK. I wouldn't mind adding a built tj to the stable but at the rate the aftermarket is going on the JK what's not to love?

Re: who still loves their JK and doesn't have TJ/LJ envy?
I would have been happy with a TJ if i'd bought one 2 years earlier. I just wanted a brand new jeep to modify and keep for decades. But what is not to love about longer, wider wheelbase and better approch and depart angles???? I'm an electrical guy so the computer stuff does not bother me at all. And the new body style lets you run larger tires with minimal lift I never wanted to go tall with a 2 dr but love large tires. So i'm very happy i bought when i did. That is not to say a TJ is not a very fine machine, it is indeed.

I miss my old Tj, no doubt.I miss the extra power and its size. I prefer the frame\suspension stock on the JK. I guess I wish I had both of my TJ Rubicons and the JK.I intend to keep the JK a sleeper and armor it- there won't be the mods I built the last 2 up to. Keeping it mostly stock I prefer the JK- built and trail ready I would have to say my old Rubicons.

Love the extra room for long trips along with the creature comforts (power windows and door locks, factory remote start, navigation system, electronic swaybar, freedom top) and can still wheel with the previous model Jeeps. Yes, I'd love a V8, but I had the same annoying downshifting on hills with the straight 6 in my TJ.

There are a couple things I like about the TJ better, but overall, I'd take my JK still.

Re: poll - who still loves their JK and doesn't have TJ/LJ envy?
Well, I have the 06 LJ rubi in my sig, and I bought a 09 JK 4 door rubi for the wife. They are both silver. I like the jk for road trips much better and it has satellite radio . It has gobs of room as well. we will be putting a 3.5 AEV premium lift and some 35" km2's in the next few months. That way we can hit some similar trails cause it is so long and low (even with the leveling kit) it bottoms out on everything and the skid plates have really taken a beating. The wife wheels the snot out of it as is, but wishes it was lifted. The wife loves it and likes it much better than my jeep, but when it comes to building wheel speed, I have found it just does not make the power like my old 4.0 makes and is kind of a dog. I wouldnt trade either one of them and enjoy both.

Re: poll - who still loves their JK and doesn't have TJ/LJ envy?
I'd take my JK any day over a TJ. I hate how they ride with any sort of lift with the tiny short arms they had. The "medium" length arms the JKs have stock are much better with any amount of lift. Sure the 3.8 isn't as potent off idle as the 4.0 was, but at least there is no 4 cylinder option

Re: poll - who still loves their JK and doesn't have TJ/LJ envy?
I needed an everyday car that was practical, so I bought the new body style wrangler. Doesn't make sense, does it? It's simple. I've always been into Jeeps and 4wheeling since I had a learners permit. Bottom line- If I bought a TJ, I'd have to out do the last one. Basically it would turn into a buggy. I can't do that right now in my life.. so I bought a JK to make a casual weekend offroader. I am sure that I will fail and take a saw and welder to it.
I must say that so far I am impressed with it onroad! The ride, handling and the V6(2door, 6 speed) really isn't that bad...
With that said, if I could afford 2 vehicles, i'd have a car and a TJ.

I love my JK. If it were not for the 4 door, I probably would not have been back out on the trail. If I did not need the space and convenience of the 4 door Wrangler, then I would have had no problem getting a TJ, especially an 06 Unlimited Rubicon.
