Moderator, shouldn't this be in the JK section? Probably increase his response chances.

I'm not a moderator but maybe since this guys first ever post was in a thread that started May 2015 he may not know he could even start a new thread... I don't know. Just may have saw a thread with a similar subject and hit reply.

Hey Merrittman. Welcome to the forum. As Ed (BLACK RUBI) suggested your question would probably be best received if you started a new thread in the JK suspension section.

But of course Guy. I wasn't criticizing the poster in any way, just putting it out there so a moderator might see it and make the correction to improve the guys chances of receiving a response pertinent to the JK.
johncanfield and Desert Dog like this.

Absolutely. And per your suggestion John did just that. Guess I was just thinking out loud why the dude didn't start his own thread. Look at the second part of that post...

Need a little more info. What do you plan on doing with the Jeep? What type of wheeling? Daily driver with an occasional trail? Overlander that will be loaded with camping gear? Want to keep stock fenders or go with flatties? What is your budget?

A 2.5" lift would be sufficient for 35's, and the most cost effective. At 3.5" of lift it starts to get pricey (to do it right and keep the drivability nice for street use)..

I'm not a guru or expert, but, I have lifted a few JK's. Let me know if I can help.

Don't listen to this guy. If you need answers, ask his wife as it's her Jeep.
