How many wires, and what colors in the plugs?
I'll try to find them in my FSM wiring section for you.

I don't recognize those, I wonder if they aren't factory?

I'm getting stumped by some of the color codes, I couldn't find a yellow red combination. My FSM is for 2004-2005 but I doubt wiring would change that much to 2006. I will give it another go this evening.
Check your PMs.

The black 2 wire plug looks like it might be the clutch pedal position switch, only problem is the FSM showed the wires to be. Yellow/Orange and Black, as for the other 6 position plug, I am unable to find anything.
My first thought was for the satellite module, but the wire colors don't match up.
Good luck with your quest....

The second picture looks like the type of connector that goes to the fog lights on a TJ. There is one inside the front of the fender well on each side of a TJ. They must use that type of connector for other things as well. It is pretty weatherproofed. has your rig been modified? ie: aftermarket front bumper with offroad lights that may have a separate circuit running to them? Maybe the stock fog light harness was removed back to the plug you have under the dash. Just a wild guess..

The liver is evil, it must be punished.
