Default Super Swamper SSR - 35x10.5

Does anyone have any photos of thier Jeep wearing Super Swamper SSR tires size 35x10.5? I like tall skinny tires and it seems these are the only skinny tires, 35" or over offered in the US.

What is everyone's opinion regarding the SSR tires in general?

Thanks in advance!

The SSR would be the Super Swamper I would buy if they made a round one.

(I know, overdone cheap-shot, but I am a recovering THORNBIRD victim so I think I'm allowed. )

I've heard that. I wish someone else made a tall skinny tire.

Loved mine.

Now I run 37 12.50 SSR rubber and am pretty happy with them too!

Zee,

Did the 35s balance easily? How about your 37's? Lots of people say they're hard to balance. How are the SSR on pavement?

What size wheels and backspace were you running with the 35s?

BTW cool rig!

Man I love narrow tall tires on a jeep....got that classic Willys look to it.

I'm pretty sure those are my next tires....BB's should take care of the balancing if they won't take weights well.

I'm running them in the 33X12.50-15 flavor & I'm pretty happy with them. They balance alright with ~4oz per wheel & I got about 25k from my last pair with pleanty of tread left. Never had a flat yet & I've still got loads of tread left on my current set @ 18k. They work pretty good on the trail, although wet traction leaves a bit to be desired (I've locked 'em up on the street in the rain quite a few times.) Overall, not a bad tire for the money & I wouldn't steer anyone away from them.

I looked at that size too... but want a radial. I just wish there was more variety when it comes to taller skinny tires. Maxis makes the radial Buckshot Mudder in 305/85R16 (36x11 or so). Cool but again no variety in this size either.

BF Goodrich makes tall skinny tires.

33x10.5x15 - maybe not tall enough. (?)
