'04 Rubicon RC 2.5" lift

Just installed a Rough Country 2.5" spring lift with shocks. Also installed the RC steering stabilizer and QD sway bar links at the same time. I was lucky and had no rusted bolts, everything came out easy. The rear springs were easy to install also. The front springs were not so kind. It eventually took 3 people, coil spring compressor and pry bar to get the front springs in! Never had a problem on front springs before, but never installed on Dana 44 front either. Still running 245/75s at the moment and plenty of clearance and travel. The ride has been pleasantly soft on and off road. There was no trac bar relocation bracket needed and I retained the factory rear sway bar. I am pleased with the suspension, plenty of flex and not too high to climb in and out of for EXPERIENCED (older) drivers. Before, during and after. Also trail tested on.

No rust means your Rubi probably spent most of its life in the south. Mine spent its life in Texas and was rust free Your jack stand perched on the wood blocks looks really scary to me. I've done that before but I made a wide base of 4x4s, I would also have a jack under the end I'm working under as a safety backup.

Anyway, good job, looks great!

Looks great! Good to hear you like the RC lift. I've got one to install.

Ditto on the blocks. Scary!

I'm glad you lived through that jack stand setup to tell the story.

Concrete block are not to strong on their side like they appear to be . They will collapse fairly easy.
