Default 2005 rubicon lockers

I have a 2005 rubicon I engaged my lockers my front locker disengaged fine but my rear locker won't disengage it makes loud and quiet popping noises and every once in a while the rear locker light flashes right now it's sitting in my driveway on jack stand I have the diff cover off and it all looks good just looks like it won't disengage I pulled out the lines and blew them out there was some water in them I wanted to know if any one has any solutions or diagrams showing me all the components to the lockers and how exactly they work thx in advance

Welcome to ROF! We have several members that are very familiar with the guts of the diff so hang loose.

Normally if you diff plug was screwed in too far, the locker will remain locked but since it comes on/off on its own, it sounds like a piece from the spider gears broke off and is jamming the locker on and off. Were there any chunks in the diff fluid?
